Kendra Horsburgh is a trailblazing female creative leader and movement architect. She is co-founder of BirdGang Ltd, a leading Hip-Hop theatre dance company and has worked around the world since 2005.
Kendra is fluent in many genres of movement and narrative, catering for Musicals, Theatre, Stage and Film. With her interest in technology, Kendra explores the ways in which we consume creative content and immersive experiences in a digital world. She is not only recognised for the productions she has toured with, but also the music videos she has choreographed and the artists she has coached; both nationally and internationally. Her mission is to tell thought provoking stories and paint vivid and striking pictures through Dance, Theatre, and Technology, creating unforgettable experiences.

Well-travelled and fluent in four European languages, Kendra has worked on world tours such as JUNGLE BOOK (UK tour), BLAZE THE DANCE SENSATION (Sydney Opera House, Bangkok, Taiwan, Russia and most of Europe), LIMITLESS Diversity UK arena tours. She has worked as an associate on the new Musical &JULIET (Shaftesbury Theatre UK), FLIRTY DANCING (Chanel 4), starred in BOADICEA (Got to Dance finalists 2012), INTO THE HOODS (Royal Festival Hall) and the OLYMPIC RELAY (UK tour). She has choreographed music videos such as “You” by STARLING, "Busy Earning" by JUNGLE, “Hold On” by INCOGNITO and featured in films such as HARRY HILL the Film and STREET DANCE 3D2. Movement direction is Kendra’s speciality and she has choreographed on FLIRTY DANCING (Channel 4), DYNAMO’s “The power of X”, BRING THE NOIZE (SKY 1) and THE PAIN KILLER by Kenneth Branagh at the Garrick Theatre. She is currently associate Choreographer of &JULET, the musical. Music by Max Martin, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre on the West End in November 2019.
Some of her original work, such as "THE AVIARY" (premiered at Breakin’ Convention at Sadler’s Wells and commissioned by the British Council Sri Lanka), "MOVEMENT POETRY" (Luxembourg), "LANGUAGE OF LOVE" and "NOX: EVIDENCE OF ABSENCE 360 VR" are both the fruit of her creative inspiration and a promise of what is yet to come.
